Q: How long do eyelash extensions last?
A: Your natural eyelashes can shed up to 2-5 lashes per day. How often you need a fill depends on how well you take care of your lashes, your natural cycle of hair growth, and how full you desire your lashes to be: On average we recommend to get a fill every 2 - 3 weeks.
Q: Does it hurt to get lashes?
A: Absolutely not!
Q: Will they damage my natural lashes?
A: If done properly, there will be no damage to your natural lash. If a stylist places lashes that are too long or too thick for your natural lash, this can also cause damage, known as 'traction alopecia'. Please research any lash extension professional you are considering, to ensure they are properly trained, have experience, and are credible before you invest your money into your delicate eye area!
Q: Can I wear mascara and other eye make up?
A: We highly recommend not to apply mascara onto your lash extensions, as mascara would only make the extensions clump together. Any other eye make-up can be used but make sure they are oil-free!!
Q: How do I take care of them?
Use only oil-free products around eye area. Pat lashes and let air dry. Clean lashes with anti-bacterial shampoo. Get fills every 2-3 weeks
Don't wet lashes for 6-8 hours after appointment. Don't swim, sauna or any extreme heat for 24 hours after appointment. Avoid mascara at all times. Don't have the shower straight into your lashes
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Arteze accepts cash, debit, Visa and MasterCard.
Q: Do I need to purchase anything to take care of my lash extensions?
A: Products are not a must, however, they are many products that are designed to either help the growth and health of your natural lashes, products which helps to keep your lashes oil and bacteria free, as well as helping the lash extensions stay on longer between fills.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Any changes to appointments (cancelling or rescheduling) with less than 24 hours notice may result in a charge of 25% of the cost of service. No-show appointments will be charged 50% of the service.
